Round Mirrors

Image
Since I am giving my dining room a makeover, I have been on the hunt for a piece to go above the console table.  I think an oversized round mirror would be perfect for this spot.  Round mirrors are clean and modern and would be very different from the sunburst mirror I had there before.  I think it will also help bounce the light around in here since the wall is darker. I scored the internet looking for some options.  Some are more affordable than others.  I want to get the bes t bang for my buck and hubby isn't going for something expens i ve.  "It's just a mirror ," he said.   1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9   You're reading Round Mirrors b y Andrea, originally posted on Decorating Cents .  If you've enjoyed this post, be sure to follow Andrea on Facebook , Pinterest , Bloglovin , Instagram , and Hometalk .

DIY Acrylic Tray

Image
Hump day!  We're half way there. So glad my daughter's room is finally finished.  I love the gray walls with pops of color throughout.  Her desk is one of the areas she uses the most.  She likes to sit there and do legos or draw.  She tends to collect a lot of paper so I wanted a tray to corral all of it.  I made a simple acrylic tray in my office so it was a no-brainer to make one for her too. I bought a plastic frame from Michael's and some pretty scrapbook paper. Cut the paper to size to fit into the frame. Boom!   Done !   So simple but so cute! Here it is on the corner of her desk.  I love how it's not bulky and since it's clear, you can still see the desk.  It doesn't always stay as clean as I'd like it, but it w orks. What's the easiest project you've tackled lately? In case you missed it, the room reveal is here .   You're reading DIY Acrylic Tray b y Andrea, originally posted on...

Time for Spring Style

Image
Spring is quickly approaching people!  That means warmer temps and more daytime outings.  It also means new clothes and accessories to accommodate those temp changes!  Thankfully my husband understands that and likes to get in on the shopping action too.  Over the years his style has matured and he likes to look good when we go out.  I must say he has a good sense of style. One thing my husband loves to have is a good watch.  He tends to go for name brands so they aren't going to be cheap.  Let's be real, a watch is probably one of the only accessories a man wears so it should look good and stand out.  A watch should also be of quality and last a long t ime.  Accessories also elevate the outfit am I right?  My stylish fella likes to dress and having a fashionable watch on his arm kicks things up a notch. I jumped at the chance to partner with JORD .  They are a maker of unique wood watches powered by Swiss moveme nt ....
