Refresh With Throw Pillows

Last week we talked about refreshing your home after the Christmas decor comes down. Well, what better way to refresh your home than with new throw pillows? Pillows instantly and easily give your room a new look. I'm a huge fan of pillow covers because you can take them off for washing and switching things up. Covers can also be cheaper than pillows. I've pulled some choices together that can help you refresh your space! I may be a little partial to blues! 1 / 2 / 3 4 / 5 / 6 7 / 8 / 9 10 / 11 / 12 Don't forget to grab yourself some pillow inserts. I prefer down feathered inserts. They can be re-fluffed and don't go flat like polyester inserts. Transitioning from Christmas to Winter Decor

One of those tricky transition periods is after Christmas when all the decorations come down. We take down our trees and ornaments and are left with what feels like a blank slate. It can almost feel empty where the tree once was. For myself, I took it as a chance to de-clutter and purge a lot of the old Christmas items I hadn't used in years. There were also many regular home decor items I was holding on to but really had no need for. My style has changed over the years and I knew I wasn't going to use them. I have a few tips on decorating your home for winter. 1. Use natural elements I think one of the things that can stay during winter is the greenery. We've already used these things for Christmas so by removing the ornaments and color, we are prolonging their use. Wreaths and garland add a nice touch of outdoors. Happy New Year! Yes, I know it's been a hot minute since I posted. The first post of the year is about where I want my blog to go this year. Last year's motto was "Make It Happen".
