Welcome to Friday! A crazy week of getting back into the swing of things after vacation. Why is it always so hard to go back to work? School projects are coming up and Milestone testing starts next week for my fifth grader. My kindergartner has no clue how easy he has it right now. Anyway, here's my weekly recap of goodness that caught my eye. 1) I love this re-purposed thrift store art from Savvy Apron. I've been looking for art for the dining room and this may be the solution.   2) I love this dark blue board and batten wall from Angela Rose Home. 3) I don't typically decorate for Easter but love this simple DIY to dye wooden eggs from Chris Loves Julia. 4) The One Room Challenge spring edition has started! I love seeing the process of each project. There is even a linkup for guest participants. Maybe I'll join next time! 5) Speaking of before and afters, have you checked out the #myrenovatedreality hashtag on Instagram? So many ...

Hey hey hey! Welcome to spring! Nothing like warmer temps and pollen covered cars. As much as I want to dine on the patio for lunch, I know it'll put me in a sneezing fit. And my kids are already sniffing and coughing. You can keep that part of the season! Just give me the go for flip flops. 1) Have you seen the new MoDRN line from Walmart? The pieces are so on point but items are a little pricier than what you'd expect from them. I'm really loving this cabinet . The color is so pretty. 2) Have you ever wanted to take a picture of a room with a window but it looks blown out? This tutorial explains how to keep everything in the picture bright all while still being able to see everything outside of the window. A real game changer. 3) Bethany's playroom reveal is so good. I love the blues and the different stations she has set up around the room. Now if I could just get my kids' space together. 4) My go-to sneakers for the spring and summer...

Happy Friday friends! Another week down. Sharing some good things that have stood out this week. 1) The progress of this entry makeover is making me want to grab a ladder and do my own. 2) With warm weather right around the corner, it may be time to start sprucing up the patio. The new items at Target are pretty nice. 3) My beautiful friend Nicole re-launched her website. It looks so good. 4) My kids take lunch to school and one of their favorites are these pizza bombs . Easy to make and tasty too! 5) I have been wanting to do built-ins in my entry but I think I am leaning towards using floating shelves instead. Have a great weekend!   You're reading Friday Five by Andrea, originally posted on Decorating Cents .  If you've enjoyed this post, be sure to follow Andrea on Facebook , Pinterest , Bloglovin , and Hometalk .

Well people, we made it to Friday! Are you ready for Father's Day? Anything big planned? I wanted to share a few things that I thought were pretty that caught my eye this week. 1) I have been drooling over ChrisLovesJulia 's bathroom renovation. They are nearing the completion and ever single detail is perfect. Their entire home is great so I could just move right in and not change a thing.   2) Target is launching a new line, Made by Design , next week. 3) Our HOA is tightening up on the rules around the 'hood so we have to find a way to tastefully cover our trashcan. I saw this tutorial to create a storage area on the side of the house. Seems pretty simple to execute.   4) You may be hosting an outdoor shindig for your family this weekend. Turn ordinary plastic bins into ones that look more industrial.   5) One of my favorite places to find decor inspo is Instagram . It is full of talented home owners and designers from all types o...

"Hey, Hey, Hey!" - in my Fat Albert voice.  How the heck are you? Here are some things that have caught my eye lately. 1) Have you seen this gorgeous privacy wall over at Table + Hearth? 2) I'm loving this bonus room makeover from Hi Sugarplum.  We started on our loft area upstairs and stopped.  Time to jump back on it, I know. 3) I keep saying to myself I want to re-paint our master bathroom but after seeing this one from Soul Interior Designs, I may have changed my mind.  The color is very similar to ours yet looks so elegant in this space. 4) I re ally like the molding and deta il in th is entryway makeover from Provident Home Design. 5) Has anybody sco o ped up any pieces from the Marimekko collection at Target? I haven't seen them in person but I really like the bright color s of the patio accessories . Enjoy your week end and I'll see you back here next week!   You're reading Friday Five by Andr...

It's Friday once again!  Oh, how I've waited for this day all week!  Spring break is next week and we a re all looking forward to a b reak f rom the norm. Here are some things that caught my eye l ately . 1) Katie over at Bower Power Blog made some photo frames out of MDF.  They look great in her boys' playroom. 2) I recently started following Fearfully & Wonderfully Made.  Carli has a beautiful home.  She just shared befores and afters of how far her kitchen has come and one of the projects she did was adding faux crown molding on the upper cabinets. 3) Have you seen Emily's black sitting room ?  Oh my goodness.  It's gorgeous.  I never thought I would like black walls but it looks great in her home.   4) I've really noticed the rising of arrows in home decor.  These large wooden arrows from Two Thirty Five Designs look great in this girl's room. 5) I've started following Create Cra...

Well, we made it through another week my friends.  Here are some things t hat I've been l iking lately.     1. While browsing some food recipes, this doughnut recipe from The 36th Avenue had my mouth watering.  The way to my heart is food, especially sweets. 2. I came across this tutorial from Bless'er House for adding trim to your windows.  I would love to try this out in my house. 3. We are on the search for a new bed for my daughter and we are looking at the Hemnes Daybed from Ikea.  This hack from Honey Bear Lane looks relatively simple and makes the bed look so much more custom.  Anybody have one of these beds?  Do you like it? 4. I also would like to try building a headboard like this one from Home Depot's blog .  I love the shiplap and rounded top but with having to buy tools and wood, it may come out to be a lot more expensive.  It is pretty though. 5. I have been following the hashtag #...

Happy Friday!  It's the end of another long week.  This was my first full week of work of the new year and I'm exhausted.  It's hard getting back into the swing of being an adult. Here are some things that have caught my eye this week around the net. 1) We have been trying some new recipes for the last couple weeks and I really like this one for Broccoli Cheese Soup .  It's simple and the family loved it.  Something about having warm soup when it's cold outside. 2) I've been toying with the idea of revamping my daughter's bedroom and when I saw this one from Sita Montgomery , I swooned.  Do you see the wall detail?  Love it.  Something I think I may have to add to my list of to do's. 3) Megan from It's a Grandville Life installed this beautiful chandelier in her office. What a statement piece!  And I can't help but notice how bright and clean her office is. 4) I love the way that DIY on the Cheap turned ...
